BIOGRAPHY
When I was younger I had dreams of becoming a fashion designer. My family encouraged my interest in the creative art field however were not too happy with my career choice. We found a happy middle point where I studied fine art, digital art and painting before I realized my real love was in the field of photography. I started teaching myself through hours of videos and practice on myself as a model. Being a model for so many years of practice helped me understand what it’s like for the subject behind the camera.
I gained some experience at a studio in Hanoi, Vietnam and really enjoyed working with women who came into the studio. Working with pregnant women helped me understand the struggles these women went through with body image and gave me posing skills to help everyone be comfortable with themselves and love their images.
I finally choose a career path and pursued a diploma in photography in college and moved to Vancouver, Canada to follow my dreams.
My history of fashion and love for the fine arts is reflected in my photography. I love getting creative with posing and portraiture and still a model for myself to try out new ideas and concepts. I also have a plan to study makeup in the near future to create beauty concepts. Besides that, I collaborated with fashion design students to build fashion shooting for my portfolio.
